St Albans and Hertsmere Women’s Refuge
St Albans and Hertsmere Women’s Refuge (SAHWR) needed to raise considerable funds for a long-term project, so a Case for Support document was required. This document was to be sent to donors, who might give substantial sums towards the project.
The brief was to design a print document that clearly communicated the need for funds and reasons why potential donors could make a difference. The main theme was supported by real-life stories and information about the subject of domestic abuse.
From a visual point of view the message was clearly laid out with the careful use of one image per page. The colour palette was used to bring definition to each section and page. I used Helvetica because I did not want any distraction from the message.
